Once again, I can see that all of my efforts to train you to sleep in were in vain! Please, please spare the man the ice cubes! Make brownies and read books (because those are some of the things that I wish I had time for!).
Oh, humbug. I told him about the ice cubes but I don't think he believes me. And I don't, too much, mind wasting my morning hanging about and reading then heading back to bed for a nap, but if he insists on getting up when do initially, then it isn't my fault if he's grumpy. I didn't get any more sleep than he did.
Now, if he started crying in the middle of the night and I had to feed him, I'd probably just shove him out of bed. It's a good thing you're the mom and not me.
